THE SILVER OF THE THRACIAN

     Precious metals were always important for the Thracian society, especially in the life of its elite. In the present exhibition, we would like to bring to you various sides of this wealth and to show to the public some of the most important finds that were discovered more than a century ago (such as the objec ts from Brezovo, Radyuvene, and Sindel) and became a driving force for the impetuous development of the academic research into the Thracian antiquity and for the lasting interest of experts and general public alike. An interest that has not abated to this date.
